What is Everyman? |
|
Everyman is the UK’s leading prostate and testicular cancer campaign, raising awareness of and funds for research into prostate and testicular cancers.
Everyman is run by The Institute of Cancer Research – one of the top four cancer research organisations in the world. We have internationally renowned scientists carrying out research into prostate and testicular cancer and are home to the Everyman Centre- Europe’s first and only dedicated male cancer research centre.
Male cancer affects more than 38,000 men each year in the UK and the incidence is on the increase. Research carried out shows that testicular cancer affects men between the ages of 15 -44, but is now 99% curable if caught early enough so raising awareness can literally save lives.
Everyman was started 13 years ago to address the lack of funding and research into prostate and testicular cancer.

Why did Menkind team up with Everyman?
Having met with the team at Everyman, Menkind recognised that research into these cancers is severely under funded and it’s for this very reason that they decided to jump aboard the Everyman train and do their very best to help ensure that it’s the word that spreads about the dangers of not checking for symptoms and not the cancer itself.
You can make a £1 donation to Everyman by ticking the 'Add Everyman Charity Donation ( £1.00 )' box on the product page. For every pound donated, Menkind will make the same donation.
