What’s Molkky, you ask? It’s a skittle-type game that comes from Finland, so you know it’s super-cool! (Arctic, in fact). All you need to do to win is knock down the numbered pins, keeping score of the numbers you knock down, until your score reaches 50. But, it has to be 50 on the dot. The score actually works like middle-aged people wish age worked: if you go over 50, your score resets to 25!

So, how does the game itself work? Well, you set up the pins in a cluster with the single-digit numbers around the outside and the double-digit numbers on the inside. You then throw the throwing skittle (always underhand, fellas) and knock over the pins. The pins are only counted if they’ve fallen over properly and aren’t leaning on each other. You then pick the pins up and reset them wherever they fell, which can start to spread them like peanut butter, but it’s all part of the fun!
