Why you should support the cause
Marine turtles have survived on Earth for more than 100 million years, living in open waters and coastal habitats. The drastic decline in marine turtle populations around the world is due in part to hunting and poaching for their meat, eggs, skin and shell. Help the WWF to reduce the loss and degradation of marine turtle habitats, reduce the negative impact of net fishing on marine turtles and reduce the unsustainable use and illegal trade in marine turtles and turtle products and working with TRAFFIC, the wildlife trade monitoring network.
