Alright, here’s the lowdown on Squid Game, a classic Korean playground game played on a court shaped like a squid(yep, really). Players split into two teams: offense and defense. The defence can run around on two feet anywhere inside the squid’s boundaries, flexing their moves. The offense? They’ve got to hop on one foot outside the lines until they make it past the squid’s neck. No cheating with two feet here, and balance is everything.
Once an attacker nails that tricky hop past the neck, they get “promoted” and can finally run on two feet for the rest of the game. Then comes the final showdown: the attackers have to sprint from the squid’s entrance and tap the squid’s head with their foot to win.
But watch out, if the defense pushes you out of bounds, you’re out of the game (and in the show, well… you know). It’s a brutal mix of hopping, dodging, and a bit of rough-and-tumble. Nail it, and you’re the champ. Fail, and you’re toast.
Simple rules, insane tension.
Mark your calendars, Squid Game fans: Season 3 drops on June 27, 2025! Netflix is bringing back the deadly games, and this time it's the final showdown. Expect even more twists, tougher challenges, and a whole lot of suspense as Gi-hun faces off against the Front Man.
