What is a 12 day calendar?

Unlike advent calendars, which count down the 24 days before Christmas, 12 day calendars are intended to be given as Christmas gifts. That way, the person you spoiled gets a new gift on each of the 12 days of Christmas.

There aren’t any partridges, swans, or lords-a-leaping in there. But, 12 day calendars are filled with fun little gifts to open each day, starting on the 25^th of December!
