Facial recognition keeps the drone locked on to you, so very little user input is needed at all! You can even control the Spark via your phone thanks to the free DJI app. Jaw-dropping cinematic aerial footage can be taken in just a few taps! In short, DJI have taken time to make sure the Spark is accessible to anyone, regardless of previous drone flying experience. The Spark has in-built return to home functionality (RTH) which means it will safely navigate back to a pre-determined location if it ever loses connection, the battery gets too low, or you simply want it back with minimal fuss.
Incredible Camera

Well, a mechanical gimbal smooths out video footage and stabilises still shots meaning your footage and photos are only limited by your imagination. The camera is located on a 2-axis gimbal, which can all be controlled remotely, and all this means you get the footage you really want at the first time of flying. DJI have been perfecting their lenses for years, how they capture colour, how they compensate for turbulence and remove shake from whatever you shoot. The results are images that speak for themselves! DJI also have a free downloadable app with automatic editing templates and many filters to give whatever you capture an artistic edge. All this can be shot and edited quickly then instantly uploaded to social media.
Intelligent obstacle avoidance
No matter how good a flyer you think you are, a moment’s lapse in concentration or over-cockiness, and bam, broken drone. So, you’ll be pleased to hear there is a multitude of features in the Spark that mean collisions should be a thing of the past. Spark’s Flight Autonomy combines a vision positioning system (VPS), 3D sensing system (obstacle avoidance), dual band GPS, and 24 powerful computing cores to detect and avoid any mishaps from happening. In other words, it takes the fear out of flying and puts the fun back in! With great power comes great responsibility! And with a drone that is capable of soaring to dizzying heights we recognise the need to fly your drone responsibly, and so do DJI.
