When can I go?
This experience is available seven days a week, excluding 25th December. All visit dates and safari rides are subject to availability.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability. Please note: Your experience needs to be pre-booked with the Aspinall Foundation, with at least two working days notice between the booking request and experience date requested.
How long will my experience last?
You’ll choose an animal to adopt from the following selection: African painted dog, brown bear, cheetah, clouded leopard, European bison, elephant, giraffe, gorilla, grey wolf, Javan langur, lion, rhino or tiger. Please be aware the elephants live at Howletts Wild Animal Park. You’ll also receive two tickets to Port Lympne Reserve, where you can admire hundreds of rare animals. Embark on a 60 minute truck safari, allowing you to see African, Asian and South American animals.
Please allow a full day for your visit.

What else do I need to know?
Under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult
Under 3's enter the park for free and do not require an entry ticket
Please note that the adoption is shared and not one per person
Port Lympne: The park has a combination of hilly and flat terrain that is steep and uneven in places
Entrance to the park is via a ramped footbridge
Designated disabled parking is available at the base of the footbridge on hard standing
The majority of the park is accessible via ramped or level access
A number of safari trucks can accommodate a single wheelchair or mobility scooter
Wheelchairs are available for hire at the Gatehouse
Disabled toilets and baby changing facilities are available throughout the park
To protect our animals and your own, dogs and visiting pets are not permitted at Port Lympne Reserve, except for registered assistance dogs – please see full terms and conditions for our Assistance Dog Policy
Please be aware that staff vehicles have access to walking routes around the park – the speed limit for these vehicles is 5mph
