Keep tabs on your alcohol consumption with this AlcoSense One Pocket Breathalyser. Small enough to carry with you and in a high glolss sleek design, the AlcoSense One Pocket Breathalyser shows your level of intoxication, weighs less than 70 grams and is great value for money. Using MEMs sensors, the reading shows levels of intoxication in percentage of Blood Alcohol Content at increments of 0.01. The UK drink drive limit is 0.08%BAC. AlcoSense ONE reads up to 0.12%BAC – 1.5 times the UK Limit - above this level it will continue to show 0.12%BAC.
To use turn the unit on, wait for it to count down to zero, then blow until it beeps and shows your reading. Easy! The AlcoSense ONE has been approved by the US Department of Transport Standard for Hand Held Breathalysers as an Alcohol Screening Device. The US shares the same drink drive limit as the UK. The AlcoSense ONE has an accuracy of +/-0.02%BAC, further away from the limit this accuracy may be less. The device can be used again and again. For the most accurate results we recommend waiting one hour between tests so the previous sample can fully evaporate from the sensor chamber.
If you would like your AlcoSense to have greater accuracy throughout the reading range, automatically warn you not to drive if you are near to or over the limit, give more detailed readings or read in mg/l please consider the Lite or Elite versions which are also available here. These other models also have a sensor clean and purge feature which enables multiple tests to be done in a short period of time and will not require the gap of an hour between testings.
Please note: Menkind and Alcosense does not accept responsibility for any driving convictions incurred whilst driving under the influence of alcohol.
