So why are cool gadgets necessary? Well, do you remember when you were a kid and you watched your dad break his hand trying to open a bottle of wine with an old-timey corkscrew? With the bottle between his knees and the veins popping out of his head, he succeeded only by hitting himself in the face with his own hand. So retro. Now, us cool people in the present day can open a bottle without even sweating. Without even using two hands. We can use electric bottle openers. Imagine how happy dad would be if he had one of those. He would realise how cool you were.
